ORSOLA DE CASTRO
Founder of Fashion Revolution
Orsola is a pioneer and internationally recognised opinion leader in sustainable fashion. In 1997 she founded From Somewhere, a label designing clothes made entirely from pre-consumer waste: disregarded materials such as surplus and production cut-offs. The label combined sustainable thinking with fashion-forward design, bringing quality and craftsmanship to ‘exquisite rubbish’.
Co-founder of A Plastic Planet
In 2017, Sian co-founded A Plastic Planet; a global social Impact movement with a single goal – to ignite and inspire the world to turn off the plastic tap. A Plastic Planet are highly vocal in representing the public’s right for plastic free choice, working collaboratively with industry, retailers, governments, legislators and the UN; to accelerate the pace of change at all levels.
