Each of the women we spoke to about their beauty and skin-care routines highlighted the importance of convenience in the face of a hectic schedule.
When the weather heats up, none of us want to be left carrying around several step skincare routines, so minimal but powerful products are favourites. Rhea explains she opts for “simplicity and glow”, whilst Sabrina wants quality products that are “easily available when [I] run out”.
Not having to spend too much time on a routine is also key, Lottie explains “When shopping for beauty products, it's really important that they last the day. I rarely stop to reapply make-up, and I don't carry a lot of products with me.”

When you’re in a role where your day is forever subject to a last-minute programme change, portability of your products is key. Each of the women we talked to stressed the importance of travel-ready skincare.

It's really easy to apply and I found it stayed nicely pigmented all day.” The colours are deep and wearable, and, most importantly, the product lives up to its online popularity. When you don’t have a lot of time to research what you’re buying, the opinions of others are essential. Lottie explains “I really value being able to read honest reviews before trying new products.”
Sunshine Skincare Stars
When the sun is out, top-quality on-the-go skincare is a must-have. It not only protects our skin from harmful rays, but a quick dash of a great moisturiser or serum can help us feel our best selves again. When choosing your summer skincare, there really is a lot to consider. Whilst the sun is good for the soul and our general wellbeing, it can be both drying and ageing and a day of sea and sand can be rough on our faces and bodies.
Sabrina opts to go mostly foundation free in the summer months, in favour of more glowy, light-coverage tinted moisturisers “One product I use is the Super Healthy Skin™️ Sheer Tinted Oil-free SPF20,(RRP: £35/Member price: £12.50) a tinted moisturiser which gives me glow!” It’s a shine-free, non-oxidising must have.
