This week’s Members’ Mastermind will be hosted by Emily Chalkley who will speak about Sexism in the City.
Sex discrimination in the workplace is frequently covert and over a long period of time which often culminates at the point women are unfairly selected for redundancy, receive a low bonus/pay rise or miss out on a well-deserved promotion. Discussions around the legal aspects (at a high level) of sex discrimination cases, equal pay and gender pay gap reporting.
Emily is an Associate Solicitor at Charles Russell Speechlys specialising in employment law. She acts for companies (start-ups to multinational PLCs) and senior executives on a wide range of employment law matters, both contentious or non-contentious. She has a wealth of experience acting for female senior executives in contentious sex discrimination and equal pay cases.
