Jenene Crossan has spent most of the past two years sitting in airport lounges and living out of suitcases as she’s launched Powered by Flossie in the UK. PBF’s aim is to become the world leader in the e-commerce of services & has secured the largest hair brands in the world to use their software. She is no stranger to founding businesses, having launched several startups since her first digital business in 1999. She gives back to the startup ecosystem by running open office hours for other founders and speaking on the challenges of building businesses, staying motivated, sane, and connected to your loved ones on the other side of the world. Crossan shares some lessons learned about launching a software business in London and advice for fellow startups.

Jenene founded the original influencer marketing agency, Bloggers Club Ltd (representing How To Dad and 400+ others). She also founded nzgirl.co.nz in 1999 and sold 18 Ltd in 2004. Original Trustree & Founding Director of Simplicity, a non-profit $1b+ KiwiSaver fund.
Jenene is a digital entrepreneur; specialising in predicting, understanding and developing technologies to underpin the evolving consumer behaviour. She has been described as passionate, hard working, insightful, creative, committed and tenacious. Winner of the 2016 Most Inspiring Individual at NZ Innovation Awards. Finalist for the Women of Influence Awards, Women of the Year, New Zealand Marketer of the Year and the international Veuve Clicquot Award.
