Oceanographer Sylvia Earle was the first female chief scientist of the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, but there’s more to her than that. Her life mission: to save the oceans from its greatest threats, including toxic waste and overfishing. In this award-winning 2014 documentary, we come to know the woman who turned ocean environmentalism on its head at a time when the field was dominated by men.
