Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do?
As a finance and technology consultant, I have been fortunate to work with a number of start-ups and established companies, including Accenture, Reuters, Disney, Charlotte Tilbury and many others. Based on my experience and the opportunities that continue to arise due to innovation in AI, I have recently started an immersive re-skilling and up-skilling platform called notninetofive.com, which delivers unique in-person experiences.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your work?
Seeing a change happen for an individual or their business. Driving and implementing change is what I enjoy most in everything I do.
What’s the best piece of business advice you’ve ever been given?
I use a life lesson instead – stay curious! It’s very applicable to business too.
Why do you think it’s important to support other women?
I strongly believe in communities supporting each other, regardless of gender, but it is a particularly exciting time for women. It feels like we are just getting started – in the workplace, business, everywhere, really – and we can do so much more. It’s exciting to be working with so many forward-thinking women!
Which living person do you most admire?
I feel like I am lucky that I often meet people who inspire me with their life stories. In terms of public personalities right now, Elon Musk for his amazing vision and solving some of the toughest problems.
Who inspires you?
Driven people. People who have experienced real lows, stood up and carried on to reach new heights.
What is your motto?
Life is given to you to make your dreams come true.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
I really try to appreciate the small things in life. It can be difficult to do, but I try. Otherwise, it is easy to fall into building a list of ‘I need to achieve’ without actually enjoying the moments of getting there.
What is your favourite thing about being a member of the AllBright?
Continuously being inspired by the incredible women I meet here – as women, we are all so lucky to be where we are today.
What does sisterhood mean to you?
Supporting each other, no matter what.
